Hello, I am 25 years of age and have graduated from a well known private University with a degree in Management. My initial plan was to take over my family jewelry business yet recently I have been putting serious thought into becoming a Dentist. My hopes are that I would be able to shave off a year or two from the total amount of years needed to be a dentist since I’ve already graduated from a 4-year school. Thank you in advance.

I went to the dentist yesterday to fill a gap in my tooth. He put cotton balls in and the second time he did i felt a burning. It was ok but last night about 2 hours after my lip started hurting. Its all white and very painful. And the top layer of the skin is like missing. Does anyone no what it is and what i should do to help it or what to do?

I just got a root canal done earlier. My tooth was infected, so there was so much pain when my dentist was drilling to relieve pressure, even after three shots of Novocaine.

As I was trembling in the chair, I was curious as to what the dentist was thinking in his head. Was he unhindered by my obvious signs of pain and only focused on his work, or does he have a conscience?

I’d appreciate answers by anyone, of course, but would rather be answered by those who had life experiences as a dentist or a doctor.

I just recently saw the dentist,and I now have an ulcer on my palate.Can It jusy be a coincidence?
